Steve Carell’s Showtime Documentary “Inside Comedy” to Feature Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld

Dunder Mifflin’s most prolific office manager has found a new gig on Showtime that will premiere January 26th. “Inside Comedy,” a documentary series by Steve Carell and David Steinberg, will feature celebrity comedian interviews with some of stand-up’s best ever.

According to stagetimemagazine.com, “The half-hour series features Steinberg interviewing some of the world’s biggest comedians such as Chris Rock, Ellen DeGeneres, Jerry Seinfeld, Don Rickles and Jonathan Winters, as they share career-defining moments, personal struggles and the idols that inspired them.”

“Inside Comedy” appears to be one of the most unique and original documentary series to ever explore the lives of comedy’s biggest names. AmericasComedy is definitely looking forward to it’s premiere.

Along with the aforementioned big names, the show plans to include Robin Williams, Larry David, Brad Garret, Sarah Silverman, and newly crowned oscar host Billy Crystal.

Steinberg will also play the roll of host and director. The series is scheduled to have up to 10 episodes.
